ITHACA, N.Y. – Hamilton College's
Troy Miller '28 netted two goals in the final five minutes and the Continentals blanked the Ithaca College Bombers 2-0 in non-conference action at Ithaca's Carp Wood Field on Tuesday, Oct. 1.
Season Update

- Ithaca, which has a 1-1 record in the Liberty League, dropped to 5-4-0 on the season.
How It Happened
- The Continentals shattered the scoreless tie when Miller found the net with 4:44 remaining in the second half. Ithaca tried to clear the ball from its defensive zone, but Pandelis Margaronis '25 settled it at the top of the 18-yard box and lifted a pass that sailed over four Bombers. Miller dashed toward the six-yard box and released a shot that slipped between the legs of a sliding defender and the goalkeeper.
- Miller doubled Hamilton's lead with less than two minutes left on the clock. Luke Peplowski '27 headed an Ithaca goal kick to Patrick Ferrare '27 at midfield. Ferrare navigated the ball through traffic and dished a pass to Miller near the top-right corner of the 18-yard box. Showcasing his footwork, Miller juked his defender and struck a shot into upper right corner of the net.
- The Continentals outshot the Bombers 15-13, but the Bombers registered nine on target to Hamilton's five.
- Ithaca held a 9-3 edge on corner kicks.
