CLINTON, N.Y. – The Hamilton College Continentals played all three NESCAC Maine schools inside Hamilton's Little Squash Center on three consecutive days starting Friday, Jan. 12.
The Continentals, who are 27th in the College Squash Association Team Rankings, lost 7-2 against No. 26 Bowdoin College, 8-1 against No. 13 Colby College and 5-4 against No. 25 Bates College. Hamilton hosts Wesleyan University on Saturday, Jan. 20 at 11 a.m.
Atreyus Bhavsar '26 and
Tate Burgin '25 won two of their three matches during the weekend. Bhavsar, who was playing at the seventh position, leads the Continentals with a 4-3 record. Burgin swept his Colby and Bates opponents in three games at the ninth position. He has three wins this season and 17 for his career.
Jacob Shulman '26 picked up a victory at the third position against Bowdoin, and
Tate Suratt '24 (second position) and
Carlo Caffuzzi '27 (eighth) triumphed in the Bates match. Suratt recorded his 27
th career win and Shulman and Caffuzzi registered their first this season against a NESCAC opponent.
