HARTFORD, Conn. – Trinity College's Molly McGuckin scored six goals and the Bantams recorded a 19-6 NESCAC win against the Hamilton College Continentals at Trinity's Sheppard Field on Saturday, April 15.
Season Update
- Nationally ranked No. 25 Hamilton (4-9, 1-8 NESCAC) lost its sixth straight game.
- The 13th-ranked Bantams (10-3, 5-3) have won five of their last six contests.
How It Happened
- Trinity scored twice in the first two minutes of the first quarter and led the whole way. The Bantams were up 7-3 after the first 15 minutes, 10-4 at the half and 16-5 after three quarters.
- The game was played with a running clock for the last 20 minutes after Trinity took a 15-5 lead with 5:11 left in the third quarter.
Notes
- Aine Cleary '25 scored two goals and won four draws for the Continentals. Cleary leads the team with 36 goals.
- Alana King '24 and Sydney Klepper '26 added a goal and an assist apiece. King is second on the team with 16 goals and Klepper has a team-high eight helpers.
- Abby Smith '24 scored a goal for the sixth straight game.
- Alex Orlando '25 found the back of the net for the fourth game in a row.
- Meghan Lane '24 won six draw controls and Sarah Moore '23 tied a season high with three ground balls.
- Maeve Luparello '23, Casey Fiore '24 and Kaitlin Reed '24 combined to make nine saves.
- Brooke Kurtz registered a goal and four assists for the Bantams, and Casey Ward posted three goals and an assist.
- June Trodden captured six draws and Quincy Connell caused three turnovers.
- Hamilton scored on all three of its free-position shots.
