Men's swimming goes to Wesleyan for NESCAC championships

Four-day meet gets underway this Thursday night with the 800 freestyle relay

The Hamilton College Continentals compete in the 2023 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Men's Swimming and Diving Championships at Wesleyan University's Webster Family Natatorium starting Thursday night, Feb. 16.

The championships kick off with the 800-yard freestyle relay at 7 p.m. on Thursday and continue with preliminary heats in the morning and finals in the evening on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The top eight swimmers from prelims qualify for that night's championship finals in each event, and the top three finishers earn all-NESCAC honors.

Emilio Vicioso '23 is 10th in the 50-yard breaststroke with a time of 26.45 seconds according to the championships pysch sheet. Vicioso is also 17th in the 100 breast with a time of 58.09 seconds.

Jack Jee '24 is in the top 16 in three events. Jee is 13th in the 50 butterfly with a time of 23.23 seconds, and the 200 individual medley (1:56.32). He's also 14th in the 100 fly with a time of 51.00 seconds.
