CLINTON, N.Y. – Hamilton College swimmers finished first in both relays and three individual events in the Continentals' dual meet loss against Division I Colgate University at Hamilton's Bristol Pool on Friday, Dec. 8.
Alex Vasquez '27 captured first place in the men's 50-yard freestyle and was a member of the winning 200 free relay along with
Nathaniel Taft '27, Henry Wiemeyer '26 and
Ben Howell '24.
Taft was part of three victories as he took the top spot in the 100 butterfly and led off the 200 medley relay. Howell,
Matthew Hake '26 and
Jack Jee '24 joined Taft on that relay. Hake won the 100 breaststroke by almost two seconds.
The Continentals take a break for finals and the holidays before they host Wesleyan University, Rochester Institute of Technology and Ithaca College on Saturday, Jan. 13 at 1 p.m.
