CLINTON, N.Y. – Hamilton College's
Kendall Harris '27 dropped in 17 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in the Continentals' 69-54 non-conference win over the SUNY Brockport Golden Eagles inside Hamilton's Margaret Bundy Scott Field House on Wednesday, Dec. 6.
Season Update
- Hamilton is 9-0 for the first time in program history.

How It Happened
- Tessa Cole '25 opened the scoring on a shot from 3-point land and the Continentals took off with a 10-2 run three minutes into the first quarter.
- Althea Hill '26 drained a 3-pointer from the wing for a double-digit lead at 20-10 late in the first.
- Abbey Schwoebel '27 hit a pair of shots at the free-throw line and the Continentals took a 25-13 advantage into the second quarter.
- Hamilton held Brockport to just 10 points in the second frame.
- Maria Mercado Rengel '24 netted a 3-point buzzer-beater for a 19-point cushion at the break, 42-23.
- The Golden Eagles showcased their best quarter with 18 points in the third, but the Continentals led by at least 15 the entire quarter.
- Hamilton collected its largest lead of the night of 21 points at 62-41 on a layup by Schwoebel with 7:30 to go in the fourth quarter.
- Brockport cut its deficit down to 10 points at 64-54 with 2:12 left, but Hamilton closed it out with five straight on a jumper by Harris and another 3-pointer by Cole.
- The Continentals held a 47-33 edge on the glass.
- Hamilton shot 9 of 15 from the floor including 4 of 10 from 3-point range in the first quarter.
- The Golden Eagles shot 33.3 percent (20-60) from the field.
Notes
- Harris hit 8 of 15 from the field and contributed three steals. She is fifth in the NESCAC with 17 thefts and first in rebounding with 9.3 per game.
- Cole hit 4 of 5 from the 3-point line for a career-best 12 points.
- Taylor Lambo '26 scored 11 points and added eight rebounds and three steals.
- Emily Hall '24 chipped in nine points off the bench.
- Mercado Rengel and Schwoebel recorded six points apiece.
- Anna Lee led Brockport with 15 points.
- Zairea Hannah tallied 12 points and a team-best nine rebounds.
- Zoe Zutes added 11 points and two blocked shots for the Golden Eagles, while Mandy Brink scored 10 off the bench.
- The Continentals have won the last three meetings with Brockport.
