WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Hamilton College Continentals scored three goals in the third period and rallied for a 3-1 NESCAC win over the Williams College Ephs inside Williams' Lansing Chapman Rink on Saturday, Dec. 9.
Season Update

How It Happened
- Ben Zimmerman '26 tied the score 5:59 into the third period. Luke Tchor '27 gained control of a faceoff along the right-side boards in the Continentals' attacking zone. Tchor skated below the goal line and threw the puck in front to Cameron Miranda '26 above the left faceoff circle. Miranda's shot from the point was tipped out of the air by Zimmerman in the slot and past the goaltender.
- Tchor put Hamilton in front 14 seconds after its power play ended with 7:54 left. Justin Biraben '27 passed from the left corner to Tchor below the goal line. Tchor skated behind the Williams net, into the right circle, and snapped a wrist shot from the faceoff dot that settled in the back of the net.
- Devon de Vries '27 provided the Continentals an insurance goal with 4:00 remaining. Max Bulawka '26 hustled down the ice on the forecheck and knocked the puck away from an Ephs defender as they tried to take it out from behind their net. The loose puck ended up in the slot where de Vries one-timed a wrist shot that beat the goaltender on the blocker side.
- Shots by Hamilton's Jacob Ierfino '27 and Biraben rang off the iron in the second period.
- Williams put four shots on goal late in the third after the Continentals made it 3-1. The Ephs pulled their goaltender for a 6-on-5 advantage with about 90 seconds to go. Zimmerman and Max Wutzke '24 blocked shots for Hamilton in the final minute.
