CORTLAND, N.Y. – SUNY Cortland's Kareem Lubin recorded 24 points and nine rebounds in the Red Dragons' 75-73 non-conference win against the Hamilton College Continentals at Cortland's Corey Gym on Monday, Nov. 27.

How It Happened
- Cortland took the lead for good with a 10-0 run that turned a 47-43 deficit into a 53-47 lead with 11:21 left in the second half
- The Red Dragons built their largest lead of seven points twice, at 65-58 and then at 67-60 with 5:02 remaining.
- Will Holmes '27 scored five of the next six points and inched the Continentals within one point at 67-66 with 2:58 to go.
- The Red Dragons claimed four straight points for a 71-66 cushion with 60 ticks left.
- The Continentals cut their deficit to one point at 74-73 with 10 seconds left, but Cortland's Danny Linehan made a free throw for a 75-73 lead.
- A 3-point try by Hamilton just before the final buzzer was unsuccessful.
- Garret Keyhani '26 drilled back-to-back shots from 3-point land and gave Hamilton a 10-5 lead in the opening four minutes of the first half.
- The Red Dragons countered with an 8-2 spurt for a 13-12 lead.
- Trailing 22-21, the Continentals rallied with eight straight points on two 3-pointers by Connor Jenkins '27 and a layup by Owen Kane '25, and stretched their lead to 29-22 with 7:15 remaining.
- Cortland responded with a 12-4 run and took a 34-33 lead with two minutes to go in the half.
- Jalen Reese '27 netted a jump shot and Kane drained a pair at the charity stripe as Hamilton finished the half on a 5-0 run for a 38-34 lead at the break.
- Hamilton shot 44.6 percent (25-56) from the floor, including 9 of 22 from 3-point range, and 70 percent (14-20) at the line.
- The Continentals held a 33-27 advantage on the glass.
- Cortland shot 48.1 percent (26-54) from the field, including 38.1 percent (8-21) from beyond the arc, and 71.4 percent (15-21) at the charity stripe.
