CLINTON, N.Y. – Amherst College's Rylee Glennon scored a goal and added an assist in the Mammoths' 2-1 NESCAC win against the Hamilton College Continentals inside Hamilton's Russell Sage Rink on Sunday, Nov. 19.
Season Update
Nationally ranked No. 2 Amherst (2-0, 2-0) defeated the fifth-ranked Continentals (0-2, 0-2) in overtime by the same score on Nov. 18.
How It Happened
- Maeve Reynolds finished off a 2-on-1 breakaway opportunity that gave the Mammoths the lead with 8:51 left in the third period.
- Natalie Stott made six saves in the last six minutes and kept Amherst in front. Hamilton pulled its goaltender for an extra skater with 2:04 remaining but couldn't muster the tying goal.
- After a scoreless first period, the Continentals broke the ice on a power-play goal with 8:48 to go in the second. Bobbi Roca '24 controlled the rebound after her first shot was stopped by Stott and put the second one past her with 10 seconds left in the 5-on-4.
- Glennon tied the score with 1:20 remaining in the second and Alyssa Xu picked up the assist.

- Hamilton scored on its lone power-play opportunity while the Mammoths were 0-for-2.
- The Continentals held a 24-17 shot advantage.
- Amherst won 28 of 44 faceoffs.
