ONEONTA, N.Y. – Hamilton College's
Taylor Lambo '26 dropped in 21 points and the Continentals cruised to a 68-58 win against the Hartwick College Hawks in the Oneonta & Hartwick Classic at SUNY Oneonta's Dewar Arena on Saturday, Nov. 18.

How It Happened
- Lambo scored Hamilton's first seven points as the Continentals jumped out to a 7-2 advantage and led for the final 39 minutes.
- Althea Hill '26 ignited a 7-0 run with a 3-pointer and Hamilton held a 14-4 lead midway through the first quarter, and 16-8 heading into the second.
- The Continentals limited Hartwick to eight points in the second quarter again. Kendall Harris '27, Hill and Lambo scored three straight baskets and started a 13-4 run for a 29-12 advantage with four minutes remaining.
- Piper Seamon '24 converted two free throws for a 16-point cushion (32-16) at the break.
- Hartwick scored the first five points of the third quarter. The Continentals countered with a 14-4 spurt and grabbed their largest lead of the night of 25 points at 52-27 on a layup by Sophie Thompson '24 with 2:10 to go.
- The Hawks closed out the quarter with seven straight points and trailed 52-34.
- The Continentals went 10-for-14 at the free-throw line and held a double-digit lead the entire fourth quarter.
- Hamilton shot 43.6 percent (24-55) from the floor and 64.3 percent (18-28) at the line.
- The Continentals racked up 32 points in the paint.
Notes
- Lambo went 7 of 12 from the floor and 7-for-12 at the line. She added eight rebounds and two blocked shots.
- Hill tallied 11 points on 5 of 7 shooting.
- Harris recorded her first double-double with 10 points and a team-best 13 rebounds.
- Tessa Cole '25 was credited with a season-best four steals.
- Bree Fargnoli led Hartwick with 18 points.
- Isabella Astorino registered 12 points, seven boards and three blocks for the Hawks.

Hamilton travels to SUNY Cortland (1-1) on Tuesday, Nov. 21 for a 6 p.m. tipoff against the non-conference opponent.
