POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Hamilton College swept all nine matches in three games and the Continentals cruised to a 9-0 win against Vassar College at Vassar's Kenyon Hall on Friday, Nov. 17.
Hamilton was playing its season opener, and Head Coach
Erin Robson earned her first win with the Continentals. Hamilton is 26
th in the College Squash Preseason Team Rankings while Vassar is 32
nd.
Tate Suratt '24, William Rice '24 and
Jacob Shulman '26 played at the top of the ladder for the Continentals. Suratt recorded his 25
th career victory at Hamilton.
Nicholas Carabatsos '24, Waleed Nisar '24 and
Carlo Caffuzzi '27 were at the middle of the ladder. Caffuzzi picked up the win at the sixth position in his first collegiate match.
Atreyus Bhavsar '26, Tate Burgin '25 and
Simon Muller '25 played at the bottom of the ladder. Muller evened his career record at 6-6 with a victory at the ninth position.
Hamilton plays at Williams College on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 5 p.m.
