LEWISTON, Maine – Bates College's Anna Masumoto and Maeve Parmelee scored and the Bobcats blanked the Hamilton College Continentals 2-0 at Bates' Russell Street Field on Saturday.
Season Update
- Hamilton (5-1-3, 3-1-3 NESCAC) dropped from the ranks of the unbeaten. The Continentals are 17th in the United Soccer Coaches Division III Top 25 poll.
- Bates (2-5-3, 1-4-1) picked up its first win since Sept. 17.
How It Happened
- The Continentals fired off four shots in the first five minutes.
- After three corner kick opportunities, the Bobcats struck in the 22nd minute on a goal by Masumoto.
- A bit more more than four minutes later, Bates extended its lead on a goal by Parmelee that was assisted by Rachel Suh.
- Hamilton tried to cut its deficit in half before the break but Bates' Ruby Reimann held strong in goal with three saves after the Bobcats' second tally.
- The Continentals tallied 13 of their 18 shots in the first half, and held an 18-9 advantage for the match.
- Hamilton also held a 7-4 edge on corner kicks.

- Erin Rayhill '25 topped Hamilton with five shots and Olivia Zubarik '25 added three.
- Masumoto and Parmelee picked up their first goals of the season.
- Reimann tallied five saves.
