CLINTON, N.Y. – Bowdoin College's Georgie Coetzer scored two goals and the Polar Bears recorded a 3-1 NESCAC win against the Hamilton College Continentals at Hamilton's Goodfriend Field on Saturday, Oct. 14.

How It Happened
- After a scoreless first quarter, Coetzer found the back of the cage twice in the second quarter following penalty corners. The first goal came with 10:13 left and she made it 2-0 with 4:39 remaining.
- The Polar Bears held onto their two-goal lead until early in the fourth quarter. Hamilton's Grace Chapis '24 forced a turnover in Bowdoin's defensive end and Hannah Dillon '24 controlled the loose ball. Dillon spun around near the top of the arc and swept a pass to Sammy Higgins '26 as she crashed the front of the cage. Higgins shielded the ball from the goalkeeper, who had come off her line, and scored from point-blank range into an empty cage just 26 seconds into the fourth.
