BABSON PARK, Mass. -- Babson College used a 15-2 run to overcome a six-point deficit in the fourth quarter and the Beavers went on to a 71-64 non-conference win against the Hamilton College Continentals at Babson's Staake Gymnasium on Monday night.

Season Update
Hamilton (9-7 overall) was playing for the fourth time in seven days, and three of those opponents were ranked. The nationally ranked No. 11/12 Beavers (13-1) extended their win streak to six games.

How It Happened
- Taylor Lambo '26 made two free throws and gave the Continentals a 48-42 lead 28 seconds into the fourth quarter.
- Babson tied the score with 7:50 left by scoring the next six points.
- A jumper by Emily Hall '24 put Hamilton in front for the last time at 50-48 with 6:25 remaining.
- The Beavers took the lead for good with nine consecutive points. Megan Bauman made two free throws after a technical foul was assessed to one of the Continentals, forging a fifth and final tie score with 6:21 to go. Katelyn Mollica drained a 3-pointer seven seconds later for a 53-50 edge. A layup by Kelly Walsh made it 57-50 with 4:41 left.
- Hamilton was able to cut its deficit to one possession just once in the last five minutes. Lambo sank two more free throws that made it 57-54 with 2:50 remaining.
- Babson opened the first quarter with a 6-0 spurt and led for the entire first half. The Beavers held a 20-12 advantage after one quarter and a 29-25 lead at the break.
- Babson made the first basket in the third quarter, but the Continentals countered with 10 straight points and moved in front. Hall grabbed a defensive rebound and made a layup, and then passed to Lambo for another layup. Hall and Maria Mercado Rengel '24 followed with 3-pointers for a 35-31 lead.
- After a layup by Walsh cut Hamilton's lead in half, neither team led by more than three points until Althea Hill '26 hit a shot from beyond the arc that gave the Continentals a 46-42 edge with 1:03 to go in the third.

Notes
- Hall played all 40 minutes and finished with 17 points, three assists and two blocked shots.
- NESCAC player of the week Emma Sehring '23 posted 16 points and 10 rebounds for her fourth double-double in the last six games. Sehring has seven double-doubles this season and eight in her Hamilton career.
- Lambo chipped in 11 points.
- The Continentals were 8 of 12 from the field, including 4 of 5 from 3-point range, in their 21-point third quarter.
- Bauman led the Beavers with 17 points and seven assists.
- Mollica contributed 16 points.
- Walsh registered 10 points, seven boards and four steals.
- Samantha Smith blocked three shots.
- Babson scored 18 points off 19 Hamilton turnovers.
- The Beavers were 7 of 14 from the floor and 13-for-14 at the free-throw line in their 29-point fourth quarter.
