Hamilton College's Luke Peplowski '25 scored the lone goal in the Continentals' 1-0 NESCAC win against the Tufts University Jumbos at Hamilton's Love Field on Saturday afternoon. 
 
How It Happened 

• Pandelis Margaronis '25 hit the crossbar on a penalty kick in the 25^th minute.
• After a scoreless first half, Hamilton earned a corner kick, claimed possession and gained control with exceptional touches. Margaronis '25 tipped it to Peplowski at the top of the box where Peplowski sent a rocket to the upper-right corner with 17:41 left.  
• Hamilton recorded a season-high 23 attempts and outshot Tufts 23-10. 
• The Continentals held a 7-5 edge on corner kicks.

• The Continentals are 6-0-0 for the first time since 2003. 
• The Jumbos move to 3-2-2 on the season and 1-2-2 in the NESCAC. 
• Undefeated Hamilton is ranked 19th in the United Soccer Coaches Division III Top 25 poll and the D3soccer.com Top 25 poll. 
• Tufts is ranked No. 10 in the D3soccer.com Top 25 poll and received votes in the United Soccer Coaches Division III Top 25 Poll. 
• The last time Hamilton defeated Tufts was on Oct. 4, 2015. 
• The Continentals posted their fourth shutout of 2022. 
• Ben Ziegler '24 collected four saves. He has a 0.52 goals against average and .867 save percentage. 
• Tufts' Erik Lauta tallied five saves.
