Lawrence University's Edan Perez homered twice and drove in five runs as the Vikings came from behind to post a 9-7 non-conference win against the Hamilton College Continentals at Northeast Regional Park in Davenport, Fla., on Tuesday afternoon.

The Continentals (6-5 overall) led 3-0 after one inning, 4-1 after two and 6-4 after four. Hamilton will face SUNY Cobleskill for a non-conference doubleheader at Lake Myrtle Sports Park in Auburndale, Fla., starting at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23.

Six of the Continentals' 10 hits went for extra bases, including three home runs.
Jackson Sattinger '24 hit the first home run of his Hamilton career with a three-run blast.
Ethan Harrast '23 went 3-for-4 at the plate with a double, a homer and three runs scored.
Greg Kopp '25 went 3-for-4 with a double and his first home run this season.
Brady Slinger '22 doubled in a pair of runs.

Jack Eshleman '25 pitched a scoreless fourth inning and
Henry Tyler '25 struck out three batters in two shutout innings.
David Galvao '23 got the last two outs for the Continentals in the top of the ninth.

Hamilton jumped on top with three runs in the first.
Phil Bernstein '23Â led off with a single through the right side and Harrast roped a single through the left side. Sattinger crushed a one-out homer down the right-field line and gave the Continentals an early 3-0 lead.

Lawrence (5-3) took one run back in the second after Jacob Charon singled to left and was driven in on a double by Zach Leslie. The Continentals scored in the bottom half on a two-out homer by Harrast – the second of his Hamilton career.

The Vikings hit the long ball over the wall in left center and cut the deficit in half at 4-2 in the third. Lawrence kept the momentum in the fourth with a leadoff double to left field by Leslie and a homer to left center by Perez that tied the score.

The Continentals responded with a two-run inning in the bottom of the inning. Bernstein drew a one-out walk and Harrast doubled to left center. Slinger put the ball in left center again for a double and scored both runners.

Lawrence produced a three-run inning in the fifth after a Hamilton pitching change. Spenser Ross roped a double to deep left center with one out and Leslie was hit by a pitch. Perez hit his second homer to left field and gave the Vikings a 7-6 edge.

Hamilton tied the score in the bottom half on Kopp's solo home run to right field. After a scoreless sixth inning by both teams, Lawrence moved ahead for good with two runs in the seventh. Perez drew one of his two walks and advanced to second on a Nick Heerde single to left. Both runners moved into scoring position on a wild pitch and Parker Knoll drove them in with a single up the middle.

The Continentals had one hit and put just one runner in scoring position over the final three innings.
