Hamilton College's
Eva Abel '22 and
Olivia Seymour '22 recorded four points apiece and the Continentals coasted to a 12-5 NESCAC win against the Connecticut College Camels at Hamilton's Steuben Field on Saturday afternoon.

The nationally ranked No. 16 Continentals are 4-0 overall and 3-0 in the conference. Hamilton led 8-1 midway through the second quarter thanks to eight straight goals after Conn. College scored first. The Continentals travel to Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa., for a non-conference game on Tuesday, March 22 at 4 p.m.

The Camels (3-2, 0-2) received a goal and an assist from Julianna Ingrassia. Greta Panke won four draws and picked up three ground balls, and Sydney Weber chipped in three ground balls. Violette Nidds kept Conn. College in the game by making 16 saves, including eight in the third quarter.

Abel scored three goals and added an assist, and Seymour registered two goals and two helpers.
Olivia Chiota '24 and
Abby Smith '24 tallied two goals apiece.
Meghan Lane '24 captured eight draw controls and scooped up five ground balls.
Emmy Goodwin '22 contributed five ground balls and
Chloe Chiota '24 caused three turnovers.

Hamilton played all four goalkeepers for the third straight game.
Casey Fiore '24 made four saves in the third quarter,
Maggie Reville '22 stopped three in the fourth quarter,
Kaitlin Reed '24 turned away two in the second, and
Maeve Luparello '23 saved one shot in the first quarter.

Ingrassia's unassisted goal gave the Camels a 1-0 lead with 6:21 left in the first quarter. The Continentals tied the score 14 seconds later on a goal by Chiota and took the lead for good with 4:57 remaining when
Clarissa Hurley '23 cut towards the center of the fan from the left side and put one past Nidds.

Hamilton led 2-1 after one quarter and 9-2 at the break. Aine Downey and Caroline Bruce scored for Conn. College late in the third quarter as the Camels pulled within five goals at 9-4. The Continentals put any hopes of a Conn. College comeback to rest early in the fourth. Abel scored from just outside the crease to the left side on a great pass from Seymour 1:33 into the quarter, and Seymour found the back of the net 53 seconds later.

Hamilton held a 36-24 shot advantage, had 25 ground balls to the Camels' 18, and won 12 of 20 draw controls. Conn. College was successful on just 14 of 24 clear attempts.

Abel leads the Continentals with nine goals and is tied for the team lead with Seymour in points with 11. Lane tops Hamilton with 15 draw controls and 12 ground balls, and
Alana King '24 has six caused turnovers. The Continentals' goalkeepers have combined for a 5.75 goals against average and .603 save percentage in 240 minutes.
