The Hamilton College Continentals wrapped up the 2022 NESCAC Men's Squash Championship with a 6-3 loss against the Colby College Mules in the match for seventh place at Trinity College's George A. Kellner Squash Courts on Sunday morning.

Hamilton (5-10 overall) was the No. 8 seed for the championship while Colby (3-10) was the No. 6 seed. The Continentals return to competition with the College Squash Association National Team Championships in Philadelphia starting on Friday, Feb. 18.

Tate Suratt '24 won his 15
th career match as he outlasted his Colby opponent in five games at the first position. Suratt trailed going into the fourth game but won that one 11-8 before he clinched his match with a thrilling 14-12 triumph in the fifth game.

Nicholas Carabatsos '24 was a winner in four games at the fifth position. Carabatsos has six victories this season and both he and Suratt went 2-2 during the weekend.

Blake Davis '25 won in four games after he moved up from the ninth position to the eighth just for Sunday. Davis went 3-1 for the championship and leads the team with eight wins this season.
