Women's hockey shut out in weekend opener at Connecticut College

Teams play their regular season finale in New London on Saturday afternoon

Connecticut College's Natalie Witkowski scored with 3:21 left in the second period and Abby Wieczorek stopped 25 shots in the Camels' 1-0 NESCAC win against the Hamilton College Continentals at Conn. College's Dayton Arena on Friday night.
 
The teams play again on Saturday, Feb. 19 in New London, Conn., at 3 p.m. Hamilton was 4-0-2 in its previous six games against the Camels.
 
Sidney Molnar '22 made 11 of her 23 saves in the third period for the Continentals (10-9-0, 7-8 NESCAC). Bobbi Roca '24 won 8 of 15 faceoffs and Maddie Hong '23 blocked three shots.
 
Conn. College (8-13-2, 4-11-0) was 0-for-3 on the power play while Hamilton had two power-play chances.
