Women's hockey goes into postseason on a high note

Four players scored for the Continentals in their 4-1 win at Conn. College

Four players scored for Hamilton College and the Continentals recovered from an early deficit for a 4-1 NESCAC win against the Connecticut College Camels at Conn. College's Dayton Arena on Saturday afternoon.
 
Hamilton finished the regular season with an overall record of 11-9-0 including 8-8 in the conference. Sidney Molnar '22 made 18 saves and Hyla Mosher '23 won 16 of 31 faceoffs. Abby Kuhns '23 and Katherine Solohub '23 blocked two shots apiece.
 
The Camels ended up 8-14-2 overall and 4-12-0 in the NESCAC. Conn. College still salvaged a split of the weekend series after shutting out the Continentals 1-0 on Friday night.
 
Caroline O'Keefe put the Camels on the scoreboard first with 7:22 left in the first period on a power-play goal. Kuhns tied the score with 5:35 remaining in the period and Maura Holden '23 put Hamilton ahead with 35.8 seconds to go on an assist from Mya Berretta '23. Kuhns has three goals and Holden has seven this season.
 
Sami Quackenbush '24 gave the Continentals some breathing room on her third goal with 4:01 left in the second period. Hamilton received two goals from defenders in the victory.
 
Conn. College pulled goaltender Carly Denora (22 saves) for an extra skater with 2:06 remaining in the third period. Nancy Loh '23 found the empty net exactly one minute later for the final margin. Loh is second in the NESCAC with 13 goals and fourth with 24 points.
