Women's basketball travels to Wesleyan for NESCAC first round

Continentals play in Connecticut this Friday night for a 7 p.m. tip

The Hamilton College Continentals travel to Middletown, Conn., for a 2022 NESCAC Women's Basketball Championship first round game against the Wesleyan University Cardinals at Wesleyan's Silloway Gymnasium on Friday, Feb. 18 at 7 p.m.

The winner advances to the quarterfinals at No. 2 seed Tufts University for a matchup with the Jumbos on Sunday, Feb. 20 at 4:30 p.m. The Cardinals defeated Hamilton 86-77 in Clinton, N.Y., on Jan. 30.

The Continentals have an overall record of 9-12 and are the No. 10 seed for the championship with a conference mark of 2-7. Hamilton has dropped five of its last six games.

Wesleyan has an overall record of 11-12 and the Cardinals are the No. 7 seed for this event with a NESCAC record of 4-6. Wesleyan ended the regular season with a 21-point win at Bowdoin College.
