The Hamilton College Continentals travel to Lewiston, Maine, for a 2026 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Women's Basketball Championship quarterfinal against the Bates College Bobcats at Bates' Alumni Gym on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 2 p.m.

Hamilton finished the regular season with an overall record of 12-12 and tied for seventh place in the conference standings with a 4-6 record. The Continentals are the seventh seed for this event and were ranked 130
th in the NCAA Power Index (NPI) for Division III through Wednesday, Feb. 18. Hamilton is making its seventh appearance in the NESCAC championships and attempts to move on to the semifinals for the first time.

Bates has an overall record of 21-3 and finished in second place in the conference standings with an 8-2 record. The Bobcats are the No. 2 seed for this event and were ranked 13
th in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Division III Top 25 poll, 17
th in the D3hoops.com Top 25 poll, and 19
th in the NPI. Bates defeated the Continentals 69-60 at home back on Jan. 11. The Bobcats, who captured the NESCAC title in 2022, won the only postseason meeting with Hamilton in the 2024 quarterfinals.
