The Hamilton College Continentals fell to Drew University and Rowan University in the DeSales University Quad at Billera Hall on Saturday afternoon. 
 
Season Update

• Hamilton dipped to 8-9 overall. 
• Landmark Conference member Drew moved to 15-11 overall while Rowan, which is from the New Jersey Athletic Conference, improved to 20-4.

How It Happened

• Drew earned a four-set victory (25-22, 20-25, 25-19, 25-20)
• The Continentals had a solid start with a 7-2 advantage before the Rangers responded with a four-point streak. 
• After nine ties, Drew went on a five-point run and took a 22-19 lead. The Rangers finished off the first set with three kills.
• Hamilton took a 10-7 lead in the second set and then went on a quick 4-0 run for its biggest lead of the match at six (16-10). 
• Drew produced a four-point rally and pulled within 22-20, but Hamilton capped the second set with three straight points. 
• Drew utilized a 9-0 burst in the third set to claim a 2-1 edge. 
• Down 13-12 in the fourth set, Drew rallied with four straight points to take the lead. 
• The Rangers held only a one-point edge at 20-19 before they ended the match with a 5-1 spurt.

• Kate Carman '24 slammed 15 kills.
• Summer McClintic '24 collected a double-double with 11 kills and 15 digs. 
• Melissa Morelli '24 added 41 assists and 12 digs.
• Deirdre Corrigan '23 was credited with a career-high 24 digs and Cece Nourie '25 chipped in a season-best 19.
• Andrea Camacho-Tenreiro led Drew with 15 kills and four service aces. 
• Teeya Desgoutte tallied 13 kills while Ashley Carkhuff registered 11.  
• Melina Christodoulou proved big at the net with a team-high four blocks. 
• Jasmine Butler collected 40 assists and 15 digs for the Rangers. 
• Lauren Gaza earned 25 digs. 
• The Rangers posted a perfect 3-0 record on the weekend.

How It Happened

• The Profs swept the Continentals in three sets (25-15, 25-17, 25-12). 
• Rowan held a 6-5 edge in the first set before taking off on an eight-point rally, and Hamilton didn't get closer than eight points the rest of the set. 
• Hamilton started the second set hot and took a 9-4 lead. Rowan grabbed the lead for good with an 11-1 run. 
• The Continentals chipped away at the Profs' lead and pulled within three points at 20-17. Rowan closed out the second set with a 5-0 spurt. 
• The Profs snapped a 5-5 tie in the third set with a 5-0 run. Hamilton didn't get closer than four points the rest of the way.

• Carman led Hamilton with eight kills. 
• McClintic chipped in eight digs and two service aces.
• Morelli registered 16 assists and two aces. 
• Rowan's Natalie Ogden collected 14 kills and Sydni Greenwood added 11. 
• Vanessa Hutchinson led the Profs with four aces.
• Brooke Adams dished out 38 assists and Simone Sparano came up with a dozen digs.
