DeSales University's Abby Weiss posted 13 kills, 12 digs and five blocks in the Bulldogs' five-set win (17-25, 25-17, 25-13, 12-25, 15-6) against the Hamilton College Continentals in non-conference action inside DeSales' Billera Hall on Friday night.

Season Update
Hamilton dropped to 8-7 overall while the Bulldogs, who are 5-1 in the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom, improved to 15-9 this season with their third straight win.

How It Happened
- DeSales scored the first seven points and led the whole way in the decisive fifth set. Grace Grandinetti ended the match with an ace.
- In the first set the score was tied at 7-7 when the Continentals scored four of the next five points. Hamilton was clinging to a 14-11 advantage before the Continentals put the set away with eight straight points. The run featured two kills by Summer McClintic '24 and two aces by Deirdre Corrigan '23.
- Tied at 6-6 in the second set, the Bulldogs recorded eight of the next 10 points for a 14-8 lead. DeSales led by at least four points the rest of the way.
- The Bulldogs rattled off the first five points of the third set and cruised to a two sets-to-one lead.
- Hamilton used an early 5-0 run to take a 6-2 lead in the fourth set, and the Continentals made sure there would be a fifth by stringing together eight consecutive points for a 16-5 cushion. The spurt featured two kills by Corrigan and back-to-back aces by McClintic.

- Kate Carman '24 paced Hamilton with 12 kills. Carman is second in the NESCAC with 3.55 kills per set.
- McClintic chipped in 10 digs, nine kills and three aces.
- Corrigan served three aces and is sixth in the conference with 0.49 per set.
- Melissa Morelli '24 handed out 29 assists and came up with 11 digs.
- Cece Nourie '25 contributed a team-high 13 digs for the Continentals.
- Paige Lewis led all players with seven blocks and Shannon McDevitt had five as DeSales held a 13-4 advantage in blocks.
- Mykenah Calder boasted 18 digs and three aces for the Bulldogs.
- Tonight's match was the first between these two programs.
