Season Update
The Continentals dropped to 8-6 overall and 3-5 in the conference. Colby is now 12-5 overall and evened its NESCAC record at 4-4.

How It Happened
  • With the score tied at 9-9 in the first set, the Mules scored four straight points and led the rest of the way. Hamilton pulled within one at 24-23 on a kill by Melissa Morelli '24, but Hannah Wyllie clinched set point with a kill.

  • Hamilton rallied from a 13-9 deficit in the third set with a 13-2 spurt for a commanding 22-15 lead. The run was fueled by five Kate Carman '24 kills and two aces apiece by Morelli and Deirdre Corrigan '23. Corrigan smacked a kill on set point.
  • In the fourth set the Continentals jumped out to a 6-1 advantage and led by as many as nine points at 14-5. Colby methodically crawled back into it with a pair of four-point runs and then five straight points for a 20-19 edge. The match ended on a service error by the Continentals.
