Women’s soccer drops NESCAC match to Connecticut College

Three Connecticut College players scored goals and the Camels posted a 3-0 NESCAC win over the Hamilton College Continentals on Conn. College's Silfen Field on Saturday afternoon. 
 
How It Happened
  • Conn. College kicked off the scoring in the 39th minute with a goal just outside the top of the box by Emma Quilty after a perfect cross from Jamie Scarpantonio. 
  • The Camels extended their lead in the 56th minute on a follow-up goal by Amanda Behre after Mya Johnson hit the crossbar. 
  • Ella Gazo added an insurance goal in the 67th minute assisted by Lauren Anastos.
  • Conn. College outshot Hamilton 20-10 with seven on target. 
  • The Camels carried a 5-3 advantage in corner kicks. 
Notes
  • Hamilton moved to 3-2-3 overall and 1-2-3 in NESCAC action. 
  • The Camels (5-2-1, 2-1-1) collected their fourth shutout of the season.
  • The last time Hamilton lost to Conn. College was on Sept. 23, 2017. 
  • Nieve Tonna '26 collected four saves in goal. 
  • Quilty and Behre notched their second goals of the season. 
  • Gazo earned the first goal of her collegiate career.  
  • Sarah Hall tallied three saves for the Camels.
