Jee '24 and Wilkins '22 win events in three-way meet at Williams

Continentals to host Colgate in the season's last home meet on January 26

Hamilton College's Nick Wilkins '22 and Jack Jee '24 captured first place in one event apiece in a three-way meet against Williams College and Middlebury College at Williams' Samuelson-Muir Pool on Saturday afternoon.

The Continentals' dual meet record is now 3-6 after they dropped a 199-81 decision against the nationally ranked No. 11 Ephs, and were dealt a 176-108 setback by Middlebury. Hamilton competes against Division I Colgate University in its last home meet at Bristol Pool this season on Wednesday, Jan. 26 at 6 p.m.

Wilkins took first place in the men's 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 58.84 seconds. He ended up third in the 50 breast in 26.91 seconds and fourth in the 200 individual medley (1:59.82).

Jee grabbed the top spot in the 200 IM with a time of 1:58.23. He landed in fourth place in the 50 butterfly in 23.73 seconds and in the 100 fly with a time of 52.80 seconds. The top four finishers were separated by just two-thirds of a second in the 100 fly.

In the distance events, Luke Engel '25 was sixth in the 500 freestyle (4:54.86) and Ethan Chiu '24 finished third in the 1,000 free (10:31.55).
