Hamilton College's
Nick Wilkins '22 and
Jack Jee '24 captured first place in one event apiece in a three-way meet against Williams College and Middlebury College at Williams' Samuelson-Muir Pool on Saturday afternoon.
The Continentals' dual meet record is now 3-6 after they dropped a 199-81 decision against the nationally ranked No. 11 Ephs, and were dealt a 176-108 setback by Middlebury. Hamilton competes against Division I Colgate University in its last home meet at Bristol Pool this season on Wednesday, Jan. 26 at 6 p.m.
Wilkins took first place in the men's 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 58.84 seconds. He ended up third in the 50 breast in 26.91 seconds and fourth in the 200 individual medley (1:59.82).
Jee grabbed the top spot in the 200 IM with a time of 1:58.23. He landed in fourth place in the 50 butterfly in 23.73 seconds and in the 100 fly with a time of 52.80 seconds. The top four finishers were separated by just two-thirds of a second in the 100 fly.
In the distance events,
Luke Engel '25 was sixth in the 500 freestyle (4:54.86) and
Ethan Chiu '24 finished third in the 1,000 free (10:31.55).
