Women's soccer plays Connecticut College to scoreless tie

Continentals still unbeaten through six matches

The Hamilton College Continentals remain undefeated following a 0-0 double overtime tie against NESCAC opponent Connecticut College at Hamilton's Love Field on Sunday.

The scoreless tie is the first for the Continentals (4-0-2, 3-0-2 NESCAC) since Oct. 7, 2017, against Amherst College. Hamilton will play again at Russell Sage College on Wednesday, Sept. 29 at 3:30 p.m.

Hamilton out-shot Connecticut College 34-23 and had an 8-5 edge on corner kicks.

Cat Gambino '22 led the Continentals with seven shots, three being on goal. Rylie Mutton '23 and Hyla Mosher '23 both recorded six shots with two on net.

The Continentals best opportunity to score was in the second overtime off back-to-back shots by Gambino followed by a rebound shot from Mutton in the 105th minute.

Zoe Katz '24 made nine saves for the shutout in her first collegiate start with the Continentals. Sarah Hall made 13 saves for the Camels (3-1-1, 2-1-1).
