Middlebury College's Shane Farrell scored in the 21
st minute and the Panthers posted a 1-0 NESCAC win over the Hamilton College Continentals at Hamilton's Love Field on Saturday afternoon.
The Continentals (2-3-1 overall, 0-3-0Â NESCAC) held a 9-4 shot advantage in the second half and a 9-2 edge in corner kicks for the entire match.
Ben Ziegler '24 recorded six saves while Ryan Grady made three for the nationally ranked No. 13 Panthers (6-0-0, 3-0).
Hamilton had two shots on goal in the first half and both were shot to the bottom center. The first came in the 11

th minute. Middlebury's goal came on a distant pass on the right side that landed inside the box, and with a quick turn Farrell shot it far left past Ziegler into the bottom-left corner.
Simon Hoke '24 recorded Hamilton's third shot on goal in the 38
th minute. The Continentals' defense battled hard in the second half and held the Panthers to only four shots, including two on goal.
Hamilton is back home on Sunday, Sept. 26 against Connecticut College at 1:30 p.m. on Love Field.
