The Continentals went on a 6-1 run and went back up 15-11. It looked like Hamilton was on its way after a Corrigan kill made it 22-19, but the Bantams responded with three points in a row and tied for the score for the first time since it was 10-10. Trinity drew even again at 23-all before the Continentals clinched the set with kills by Carman and Morley-McLaughlin.
In the second set Hamilton led 12-7 and 14-8 before the Bantams scored six straight points and drew even at 14-14. The teams were deadlocked at 15-15 when the Continentals went on a 6-2 spurt capped by a pair of McClintic kills. Hamilton didn't trail again and Morley-McLaughlin closed out the set with another kill.
Trinity led by as many as three points early in the third set, but an 8-0 run by the Continentals gave them the lead for good at 12-7. Corrigan had three aces and a kill during that span. Hamilton was up by nine at 21-12 when the Bantams scored seven straight and crept back to within two. The Continentals secured the match on two solo blocks by Morley-McLaughlin and two aces by Cillo.
