Hamilton College dropped a pair of home matches at Little Squash Center on Saturday.

The Continentals (5-8 overall) lost 7-2 against Hobart College in the afternoon and fell 9-0 against Trinity College that evening. Hamilton is 26th in the latest College Squash Association rankings. Hobart (9-6) is 25th and Trinity (11-0) is No. 1.

Jonathan Ruth '18 was a winner in five games at the seventh position against Hobart. Ruth collected his second victory this season and the 24th of his career with the Continentals. He prevailed 13-11 in the first game and 14-12 in the third game, and clinched the win with an 11-7 decision in the fifth game.

William Jordan '20 rallied to win in five games at the ninth position against the Statesmen. Jordan is second on the team with seven victories. He trailed two games-to-one but triumphed by scores of 11-6 and 11-8 in games four and five, respectively.

Colin O'Dowd '19 nearly defeated his Trinity opponent at the first position but was edged in five games.

Hamilton returns to the courts on Friday, Feb. 2 when the Continentals host the 2018 NESCAC Men's and Women's Squash Championships.
