The Hamilton College Continentals dominated the action but the Connecticut College Camels emerged with the 3-0 win in a NESCAC men's hockey game played at Conn. College's Dayton Arena on Saturday night.

Hamilton (9-3-1, 4-3-1 NESCAC) held a commanding 33-10 advantage in shots as its win streak came to an end at six games. The Continentals are ranked sixth in the D3hockey.com Top 15 poll and ninth in the USCHO.com Division III Top 15 poll.

The Camels (4-8-0, 4-3) scored once in the second period and twice in the third. Connor Rodericks made 33 saves and picked up the shutout.

The penalty-kill units had the upper hand in this one as the teams combined to go 0-for-10 on the power play. Hamilton had eight chances, including a 5-on-3 for two minutes late in the second period and another two-man advantage for 67 seconds with less than seven minutes left in the third. Connecticut College received a five-minute power play midway through the second period after one of the Continentals was given a major penalty for boarding.

Jake Farabee gave the Camels a 1-0 lead with his first goal of the season at 6:19 of the second period. Jacob Moreau made it 2-0 with his fifth goal at 5:38 of the third and Chris Jellison's empty-net goal completed the scoring with 2:17 remaining.

Hamilton's Anthony Tirabassi '20 turned away seven shots. Tirabassi, who got his first start in a conference game in place of the injured Evan Buitenhuis '18, has a 0.63 goals against average and .971 save percentage in 284-plus minutes in goal this season.

The Continentals are on the road again on Sunday, Jan. 14 against Tufts University at Valley Forum in Malden, Mass., at 4 p.m.
