Morrisville State (8-3 overall) went 20-for-25 at the free throw line and defeated the Continentals for the first time in six all-time meetings. The Mustangs extended their win streak to four games.

Hamilton (7-8) shot 24.2 percent from the field including 2 of 27 from 3-point range. The Continentals held a 42-39 edge on the boards thanks in part to 20 offensive rebounds.

Haley Kilmartin added 10 points and eight rebounds and Kaitlyn Griffin hauled in a game-high nine boards. Allison Chase drained three 3-pointers and finished with 10 points off the bench.

The score was tied once at 2-2 after the Continentals' Caroline Barrett '17 canned a jumper three minutes into the first quarter. Marissa Woodard sank a jumper 19 seconds later and the Mustangs led the rest of the way. Morrisville State held a 12-9 edge after the first 10 minutes.

The Mustangs outscored Hamilton 14-4 and pulled out to a 26-13 advantage during the first eight minutes of the second quarter. Kilmartin, Anderson and Tori Rockefeller scored four points each during the spurt. The Continentals responded with six straight points on a basket by Rylie Mainville '18, two free throws by Kate Bushell '17 and a jumper by Rallins. An Anderson bucket closed out the half and gave Morrisville a 28-19 cushion at the break.

The Mustangs all but clinched their win by scoring the first 11 points of the third quarter as Hamilton went ice cold from the floor. Anderson made five free throws, Rockefeller drained a 3-pointer, Chase made the second of two free throws and Griffin moved Morrisville State out to its largest lead of the night of 20 points at 39-19 on a pair of free throws with 3:35 left. Serbent finally ended the Continentals' scoring drought with two free throws with 2:56 remaining. Hamilton was 0 of 13 from the floor in the quarter, which ended with the Mustangs holding a 44-24 lead.

The Continentals tried to rally in the fourth quarter but didn't get closer than 10 points in the final minute. O'Hern scored all six of her points in the quarter. Morrisville State made just three field goals -- all from beyond the arc -- in the last two quarters but the Mustangs pulled away in the second half because they went 17-for-22 at the line.
