Emma Sehring ’23 is the women’s basketball team’s January Athlete of the Month.

Emma averaged 12.9 points per game and 10.4 rebounds per game. She was named NESCAC player of the week for the second time this season on Jan. 16 after she poured in a career-high 20 points, grabbed 15 rebounds and blocked two shots in an 80-71 overtime win against Bates on Jan. 13. She posted 11 points and nine boards in a 59-43 victory against then-nationally ranked No. 25 Tufts on Jan. 14. The Continentals had lost their previous 16 games against Tufts. The forward also tallied 19 points and 13 rebounds in a 68-52 loss against then-No. 8 Smith College on Jan. 10. Emma is fourth in the conference with 9.2 rebounds per game.
