Andrew Harrell ’23 is the men’s track and field team’s January Athlete of the Month.
Andrew captured first place in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 8:24.15, which was only about five seconds off the team record, at Middlebury’s New England Small College Invitational on Jan. 29. He won the 800-meter run (2:03.23) and the mile run (4:24.50) in the Hamilton Invitational on Jan. 20. Andrew kicked off the month by finishing runner-up in the 5,000-meter run and third in the 3,000 meters at the Utica University Winter Opener on Jan. 14. He made an All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference indoor championships cut in both the 3,000 and 5,000 meters.
