Nathaniel Taft '27 is the November Athlete of the Month for the men’s swimming team.
Nathaniel was selected the NESCAC Performer of the Week on Nov. 21 after a record-breaking performance in his first collegiate meet. In a double-dual meet against Colby and Trinity, he finished first and set school records in the 50- and 100-yard freestyle with times of 20.65 seconds and 45.38 seconds, respectively, on Nov. 19. The previous records had stood since 2001. The former Bristol Pool 100 free record of 45.90 seconds had been on the books for more than 23 years. Nathaniel also led off the Continentals' winning 200 free relay with a 50-yard split time of 20.86 seconds, and anchored the 200 medley relay in a 50-yard split time of 20.40 seconds.
