Biography

First Year (2025): Appeared in 13 games for the Continentals … ended the season with 6 goals and 1 assist … first career goal in win against Bowdoin (March 29) … first career hat trick in win against Rochester (April 15) … picked up 3 ground balls, had 2 caused turnovers, and 4 draw controls.
 
Before Hamilton: Attended Manhasset Secondary School and graduated in 2024 … played volleyball and lacrosse in high school … played for Team Elevate Lacrosse Club … AWARDS: Ken Kiess Memorial Scholarship, Black Belt Karate, All-County (senior yr Volleyball), All-Conference (Jr yr Volleyball), Unsung Hero (Sr Yr Lacrosse), Captain of the Volleyball Team (Sr Yr), Student-Athlete Leadership Team, All-Scholar Awards (All 4 yrs).
 
Personal: Daughter of Nancy and Eric Schlaefer … has 2 brothers … Jay played baseball at Hamilton ‘23 … Alex attends RIT ‘25 … member of Pre-Health Club, Peer Mentor Program, Strong Girls, and Harvest Volunteer … favorite movie is Hunger Games … favorite athlete is Harper Murray … enjoys traveling, cooking, volunteering, pickleball, running, hanging out with friends, playing the violin, boating … pre-game superstition: pray and drink a water bottle of electrolytes … hopes to study abroad in Florence.

As a lacrosse player, I love the team spirit and the coaches. They foster both skill development and friendship. The opportunity to go abroad was also incredibly appealing, as I valued global experiences and personal growth. Beyond lacrosse, Hamilton’s beautiful, nature-filled campus created an inspiring environment to learn and make lifelong friendships. Overall, Hamilton felt like the ideal place where I could thrive both on the field and in the classroom while building meaningful connections.”
