Mackay Rippey is in his 20th year as an assistant coach at Hamilton College. Rippey has helped guide the women's lacrosse program to postseason play in 18 of his previous 19 seasons, including an NCAA Division III title in 2008. He works primarily with the team's defensive personnel.

Rippey is the founder of the BULL East Girls' Lacrosse Program, a certified women's lacrosse official, and the director of BodyActive Sports Acupuncture. He is affiliated with Rotary International and U.S. Lacrosse. Rippey is an assistant coach for the Clinton High School girls' lacrosse team and is an area youth soccer organization volunteer coach.

Rippey received his bachelor's degree from St. Mary's College of Maryland. After graduation, he was a public relations intern at the Duquesne University School of Music. Rippey earned his master's in acupuncture from TAI Sophia Sports Institute in Columbia, Md.
