Mahogany Green

Mahogany Green was named Hamilton College's 10th head women's basketball coach in July 2018. In 2023-24 she guided the Continentals to a 17-18 record, including 5-5 in the NESCAC, and No. 6 seed in the conference championship. Taylor Lambo '26 --- the 2023 NESCAC Rookie of the Year --- was voted second team all-NESCAC for the second year in a row. Seven student-athletes were on the 2024 NESCAC Winter All-Academic Team.

Hamilton Head Coach (2018-present)

  • Coached the 2023 NESCAC and D3hoops.com Region 1 Rookie of the Year
  • Mentored two players to four all-NESCAC team selections and a pair of all-region team honors.
  • Guided the team to the NESCAC Championship quarterfinals in 2020, 2023 and 2024.

  • Scored 1,366 points in 113 games
  • Two-time all-Midwestern Collegiate Conference (now the Horizon League) first team selection
  • Voted the conference's 2000-01 preseason player of the year
  • Made the all-tournament team in 2000
  • Named the Vikings' most outstanding player after her senior year
  • One of just four Cleveland State players to post a triple-double
  • Still ranked in the team's top 15 in career points, rebounds, assists, steals, 3-point field goals, free throws made and free throw percentage
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology

  • Played professional women's basketball in Turkey for six months
  • Master's degree in sports administration from Central Michigan
  • Grew up in Toledo, Ohio
  • Resides in Clinton with her daughters, Kennedy Janea Green-Eddie and Kerris Michon Green, and her mother, Jeanette Green
