Allie Lindemann is in her fourth season on the Hamilton College women's basketball coaching staff. She has helped lead the Continentals to a pair of NESCAC Championship quarterfinal appearances.
Lindemann was the head girls' varsity coach at University Laboratory High School in Urbana, Ill., from 2010 to 2013. She was also a volunteer assistant coach at Parkland Community College for two seasons.
Lindemann guided University HS to a 19-9 record in her first season and led the program to an all-time high for wins in a season with a 25-5 record in 2011-12. The team won three Illinois High School Association Class A tournament contests and played in a sectional championship game in 2012, and Lindemann was selected an Illinois Basketball Coaches Association district coach of the year.
Lindemann played at Division I Siena College for two seasons while Hamilton head coach Michelle Collins was on the Saints' coaching staff. Lindemann was given the team's Joe Hogan Award for desire, attitude and dedication in 2010. As a junior, she made 68 3-pointers and averaged 10.6 points in 28 starts. In Lindemann's final college campaign, she drained 68 shots from long range again and scored 11.2 points per game in 29 starts.
Lindemann began her college career at Kirkwood Community College where she was a two-time all-region pick. She helped lead the team to a pair of National Junior College Athletic Association tournament appearances. In high school at Champaign Central, Lindemann was an Illinois all-state third team honoree in 2006, and she set the record for most points scored in a career by any player in the Champaign/Urbana area.
Lindemann earned her bachelor's degree from Siena and went on to receive her master's degree from the University of Illinois in 2012.
