Biography

2021: Started 11 games... Finished the season with a .415 batting average, .467 on base percentage, 17 hits, 9 runs, 8 RBIs and 3 doubles in 41 at bats... Named to the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team.

2020: Named to the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team.

2019: Appeared in 18 of 38 games as a first-year,... Went 2-for-3 with an rbi-single in a 7-6 comeback win over Lawrence on March 18... Went 2-for-2 with two doubles, one rbi and one stolen base in a 9-1 win over Morrisville State on April 2... Went 2-for-3 with a double, three rbi's and one stolen base in a 14-13 win over SUNY Oneonta on April 10... Had one of Hamilton's 10 hits in a 5-3 comeback win at Amherst on April 13... Finished the season with a .341 batting average, .473 on-base percentage, .432 slugging percentage and 11 RBIs in 44 at bats... Caught 1-of-2 runners attempting to steal, allowed two passed balls and was part of one double play. 

 Personal: Undeclared major... Shelby attended North Gwinnett High School... She played for the Atlanta Premier club team for seven years... Shelby is the daughter of Midge and Jason McVey.
