Max Mobley

Max Mobley is in his fourth season as an assistant coach with the Hamilton College men's hockey program. The Continentals finished 2016-17 with an overall record of 20-5-4 and advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2017 NCAA Division III Men's Hockey Championship. Hamilton finished first in the final NESCAC regular season standings at 11-3-4, hosted and played in the NESCAC championship final for the first time, received the program's first NCAA bid, and defeated SUNY Oswego in the NCAA first round at Oswego. The Continentals opened last season with an 11-0-2 record, and three players made the all-conference team.

Mobley helped lead the Continentals to NESCAC championship quarterfinal appearances in 2015 and 2016. He was a graduate assistant coach at St. Lawrence University in the spring of 2014.

Mobley played in 91 games at forward for St. Lawrence from 2008 to 2012. He helped the Saints reach the semifinals of the ECAC Hockey championship in 2009 and 2010. Mobley was a three-time recipient of the ECAC Student-Athlete Award and made the Dean's List on three occasions.

Mobley played professional hockey from 2012 to 2014 for the Danbury Whalers and the 1000 Islands Privateers of the FHL, the Fayetteville FireAntz and the Huntsville Havoc of the SPHL, and the St. Charles Chill of the CHL. In 2012-13 he scored 10 goals and was credited with 15 assists in 28 games for Danbury.

Mobley received his bachelor's degree from St. Lawrence and went on to get his master's degree at Canisius College. He is from Glendale, Arizona.
