2017: Played in five of nine games as a sophomore... Had three solo tackles for a loss of seven yards at Middlebury on Nov. 4... Finished the season with seven tackles (three solo).

2016: Played in two games as a first year... Had five carries for 13 yards in a 26-25 win on Oct. 15 against Bowdoin.

Personal: Majors in molecular biology... John attended Penn Yan Academy... He is the son of John Martisch Sr.
