Randi Moore joined the Hamilton College coaching staff as the defensive coordinator and secondary coach in June 2023. Most recently, Moore had been the special teams coordinator, linebackers coach and strength and conditioning coordinator at the University of Rochester since 2018.
Moore served as the defensive coordinator, recruiting coordinator and linebackers coach at Division II Lock Haven University from 2014 through the 2017 season. He was also the defensive backs coach in 2015. In 2013 he was a defensive backs coach and special teams assistant coach at Allegheny College.
Moore started his collegiate coaching career at his alma mater Long Island University Post. He assisted in coaching the secondary from 2007 to 2010, and he coached the linebackers from 2010 through the 2012 season. He helped guide LIU Post to a 7-4 overall record, including 6-1 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) in 2011. In 2010 the team went 7-4 overall and 5-2 in the PSAC.
Moore coached at Holy Cross High School in Flushing, N.Y., from 2003 to 2007. He was the varsity team's defensive coordinator and he was the junior varsity head coach in 2006.
Moore has been a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the American Football Coaches Association since 2015. He participated in the NCAA Football Coaches Academy in 2011.
As a member of the LIU Post football team, Moore was a three-year starter at strong safety. The team boasted a record of 39-6 and played in three conference championship games during his career. He helped the team win the 2001 Northeast-10 Conference title game, and in 2002 they went 11-0 during the regular season and were an NCAA Division II championship selection.
