Paul Adey has been part of the Hamilton College football coaching staff for more than 30 years. He works with the defensive line. Adey was the athletic department's strength and conditioning coordinator and was responsible for all aspects of strength and conditioning for more than half of Hamilton's 29 men's and women's varsity intercollegiate programs.

Adey coached at central New York powerhouse Rome Free Academy for 11 years before coming to Hamilton. While Adey was at RFA, the Black Knights compiled an 82-12 mark, never lost more than two games in a season and captured a division title in 1981. He was inducted into the Rome Sports Hall of Fame in 2014.

The Syracuse University graduate resides in Rome with his wife Bonnie. They have two sons, Kevin and Christopher.
