Deon Mash joined the Hamilton football coaching staff as the receivers coach in June 2022. He was the wide receivers and tight ends coach at the University of Rochester in 2021.
Mash was the wide receivers coach at his alma mater Long Island University early in 2021. The Dean's List student-athlete received his bachelor's degree in business administration and his master's degree in business administration with a concentration in finance.
The wide receiver finished his playing career with 80 catches for 992 yards and 10 touchdowns. Mash was named to the 2018 Northeast 10 all-conference team when Long Island went 10-1 overall and won the conference title with a 9-0 record. From 2015 to 2018, Long Island posted a record of 37-8.
Mash attended the 2019 Pro Day and had workouts with the New York Giants and New York Jets of the National Football League. He was an all-Brooklyn wide receiver and defensive end at Brooklyn Technical High School.
