Colin Pastorella joined the Hamilton College football coaching staff as an assistant in August 2018 after he played quarterback for the Continentals from 2012 to 2015. He assists defensive coordinator Josh Miller with the secondary.

Pastorella was an assistant coach in charge of running backs at Morrisville State College in 2016. The Mustangs averaged more than 162 yards per game on the ground under his guidance. He also served as the head coach and offensive coordinator of the junior varsity program.

Pastorella collected the Hamilton football team's Buff and Blue Award and National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete Award after his senior season. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in biology. The Rome, N.Y., native played on the varsity football and baseball teams at Notre Dame Junior/Senior High School. He was team captain and first team all-league for football in 2010 and 2011.
