Keeley Duran

  • Title
    Assistant Coach
Keeley Duran '22 was named the Hamilton assistant field hockey coach in August 2022 after an exceptional collegiate playing career with the Continentals.

Duran started 39 of the 40 games she played in and finished with 20 points on six goals and eight assists. She added five defensive saves and was a two-time team captain.

Duran made the 2021 all-NESCAC and all-region teams as a defender after she helped lead nationally ranked No. 20 Hamilton to a 10-6 overall record and a 5-5 conference mark. She helped lead the team to the postseason all three years.

After Duran missed the first half of her sophomore year due to injury, it's no coincidence that the Continentals went on a late-season run after she returned. Hamilton upset then-nationally ranked No. 4 Bowdoin College 2-1 in a 2019 NESCAC quarterfinal at Bowdoin and advanced to the semifinals for the second time in program history.

Duran started every game as a first-year in 2018. The Continentals finished with a 10-6 overall record and tied for fourth place in the NESCAC with a 6-4 conference mark. Hamilton hosted a NESCAC championship quarterfinal for the third straight year and ended up at No. 18 in the final Division III Top 20 coaches poll.

Duran, who is from Barkhamsted, Conn., was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) at Hamilton. She received bachelor's degrees in world politics and geology. Duran attended The Ethel Walker School in Simsbury, Conn.
