Emily Conroe

Emily Conroe joined the Hamilton field hockey staff as an assistant coach in September 2024. She previously was an assistant coach at Colgate University for the 2018, 2019 and 2021 seasons. 

Conroe played for the Wake Forest University field hockey team from 2013 to 2016. She was a four-year starter and finished her career with eight goals and 17 assists for 33 points. As a senior Conroe was a team captain and was selected to play in the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division I Senior Game. During her career the Demon Deacons won 50 games and made three NCAA championship appearances including a win over Old Dominion University in the first round in 2013. In 2014 Wake Forest finished 14-7 and was Atlantic Coast Conference tournament champions.

Conroe is from Greene, N.Y., and helped lead Greene Central School to a Class A field hockey state championship in 2009 and a Class C state title in 2012. She earned a bachelor's degree from Wake Forest in 2017.
