2020: Named to the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team.

2019: Appeared in 10 games on the mound as a first-year, including one start... Finished the season with a 0-1 record, 9.00 ERA and averaged 8.31 strikeouts per nine innings through 13.0 innings pitched.

Personal: Undeclared major... Sam attended Worcester Academy... He played for North East Baseball for two years... Sam is the son of David Thoreen and Julie Koshgarian, and he has an older brother, Henry.

Sam is also a member of the football team.
